On September 6, 2024, Pattaya Airways Co., Ltd. operated a special charity flight (VV772) from Bangkok to Chiang Rai (08:00-10:10 LT), followed by flight VV773 from Chiang Rai to Nan (11:40-12:55 LT), and flight VV774 from Nan to U-Tapao (14:25-16:25 LT). These flights transported essential relief supplies, including food, medicine, and necessary items, to aid flood victims in Northern Thailand.
Pattaya Airways worked in collaboration with Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) and several disaster relief organizations, including the Sirikorn Chiang Rai Disaster Relief Association, Dusit Volunteers, Bua Phet Rescue Association, 5 for All Foundation, Luang Por Somwang Wat Klang Bang Phra Disaster Relief Unit, Teach for Life, and the Haroon Foundation, to deliver these much-needed supplies to affected areas.
This relief mission aimed to provide essential support to the heavily impacted provinces of Chiang Rai, Phrae, Nan, Phitsanulok, and Mae Hong Son. By facilitating the swift and efficient transport of aid, Pattaya Airways is committed not only to its role in aviation but also to serving as a key contributor in times of crisis. We hope that this mission will provide hope and encouragement to the people of Northern Thailand as they face the challenges posed by the severe flooding.
